Favourite opera or musical role to perform
Rosina. I also love performing Flora. It’s a smaller role but she is a layered character and very vivacious.
A fun fact not many people know about you
I love animals. If I wasn’t working in theatre I’d probably work in a job that enabled me to be around them.
What do you like to sing in the shower?
Lots of coloratura cadenzas or anything being over-played on the radio.
Where’s the strangest place you’ve performed?
A wool shed with lots of sheep inside it. They’re very attentive!
Tell us about your hobbies outside opera
I have 3 children, 2 dogs and a cat and love literature and plays as well as skiing and anything that’s beautiful, clever and comic.
